A walk-in interview will be conducted to recruit fellows in the Project entitled “Chemical and Pharmacological investigation of Indian Marine poisonous fishes” funded by the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Govt of India under the guidance of Prof. Jharna Ray, S. N. Pradhan Centre for Neurosciences, University of Calcutta. Project involves extensive field work.
Interested eligible candidates are requested to appear before the committee for an interview. Duration of the project is upto March 2012.

Eligibility – (i) SRF - M. Sc. in any stream of Biochemistry with at least 2 years of research experience; (iii) RA - PhD in Life Sciences with 2-3 publications in peer reviewed journal
Fellowships: SRF - Rs. 18,000 per month + 15% HRA and RA - Rs. 22,000 per month + 15% HRA as stipulated by the MoES and also per norms of this University.
Candidates are requested to bring two sets of complete applications furnishing Bio-data on plain paper attached with attested copy of testimonials and all the originals of the testimonials at the time of interview.
