Applications are invited to appear at a Walk-in-interview for the post of “Phulrenu Guha Research Fellow” (one post) of Calcutta University in the room of the Coordinator, Dr. B. C. Guha Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, University College of Science, 35 Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata 700 019 on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 2 PM.
Qualification required:
First Class M. Sc. In Bio-technology/Biochemistry /Molecular Biology/Microbiology/Zoology.
Preference will be given to candidates having research experience in molecular biology and cell signaling.
Emoluments: Rs. 10,000/-p.m. + Contingency of Rs. 20,000/- p.a. The emolument may be increased up to Rs. 12,000/- p.m. for a candidate as will be judged by the Selection Committee.
Interested candidates are requested to bring with them two sets of complete application on plain paper furnishing Bio-data, containing academic qualifications and research experience, if any, with original (for verification) and attested copies of certificates.
No TA/DA will be admissible for candidates appearing at the interview.
