Job Description

Genome Life Sciences, a global leader in bioinformatics and next generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis, products and services, has immediate openings for experienced and talented scientists, business development and IT professionals to fill various positions for their India R&D center.

• M.S. in Computer Science/IT, Bioinformatics/Computational Biology, or related field.

• 3+ years of bioinformatics programming experience in an industry or academic setting. Very strong in object oriented Perl programming on a Linux based operating system.

• Experience in database design and development, SQL programming.

• Experience in web-based application framework which uses MVC architecture such as 'Catalyst' is a plus.

• Knowledge in Molecular biology and Biostatistics is useful but not essential.

• Experience in statistical programming using R is a plus.
