Essential: Applicants should have Ph.D. degree in a relevant field (e.g. Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engg., Biology, or Bioengineering) with 1st class or equivalent at the preceding degree in appropriate discipline
OR
1st class M.Tech/M.Sc. or equivalent with at least 2 years Biotech Industrial experience
Desirable: experience in at least one of the following areas: 1) stem cell culture 2) quantitative measurements of stem cell differentiation 3) use of molecular perturbations to disrupt cell receptor-ligand interactions or signal transduction pathways 4) Gene delivery 5) Bioreactor designing 6) Developmental Biology
(B) Sr. Project Assistant
Essential: Applicants should have M.Sc./M.Tech. in a relevant field (e.g., Materials science, Polymer Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biotechnology or Bioengineering)
Desirable: experience in at least one of the following areas: 1) Polymer Characterization 2) Synthetic organic chemistry 3) Microfabrication 4) Fluid dynamics 5) Instrumentation engineering 6) Animal Cell culture 7) Cell-biomaterial interactions RT-PCR, immuno-histology
Sr. Research Fellow
Essential: 1st class M.Tech. or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g. Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biotechnology or Bioengineering) with NET / GATE ualified and leadin to Ph.D.
OR
1 st class M.Sc. or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g. Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Biology or Bioengineering) with 2 years experience, NET / GATE qualified and leading to Ph.D.
Desirable: experience in at least one of the following areas:
1) Polymer characterization 2) Synthetic organic chemistry 3) Microfabrication 4) fluid dynamics 5) Animal cell culture 6) Cell-biomaterial interactions 7) RT-PCR, immuno-histology Confocal microscopic imaging
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, and demonstrated leadership skills are required. The successful candidates will join a multidisciplinary research group that studies silk protein-based biomaterials, tissue engineering, Bioreactor designing.
