EGHD’11 is a multidisciplinary conference that brings together experts in all areas of Genetics and Clinical research and provides a platform to share recent ground breaking discoveries and methods, and to facilitate new research partnerships. The emphasis of the conference will be on exploring and promoting the synergies that biological sciences can develop in getting a deeper understanding of the complexity of biological systems. EGHD’11 is specially designed to cluster a wide range of critically important themes from basic science. This conference will help to learn the current status of cancer research related to environment, education and synergy among cancer scientists and experts in the field of clinical research. This meeting focuses on the latest advancements in our understanding of the molecular pathogenesis of human hereditary diseases. This aims to bring together academic scientists, researchers and scholar students to exchange and share their experiences and research results about all clinical and environmental aspects and to discuss the practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted.

The Young Investigator award is aimed at providing vital financial assistance to young scientists to be able to attend the EGHD events, benefit from the scientific talks and exchanges as well as interact with senior scientists and fellow researchers from all over the world.

* Registered candidates are only eligible to apply for the EGHD Travel award.
The individual applying for the awards must register (registration fees will be reimbursed if selected) for the conference and submit a copy of the registration receipt along with their application. Notification of awards will be made in the mid of November, 2011. Travel Award funding will be provided to the candidates finalized by the selection committee on the basis of the candidate profile significance, fundamental contribution to biological research and curriculum vitae.
