Research Associate OR Extended Senior Research Fellow
CSIR sponsored project Understanding the molecular mechanism of energy homeostasis in normal and malignant cells : The role and inter-relationship of creatine kinase and AMP-activated protein kinase under Prof. Manju Ray, CSIR Emeritus Scientist, Division of Molecular Medicine.
The project is tenable upto 31st May 2014. Details of qualification, experience, associateship / fellowship, age etc. are as follows.
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. degree in any branch of Life Sciences / Biochemistry /
Chemistry for RA position OR candidates having 1st Class M.Sc. Degree in any branch of Life Sciences / Biochemistry / Chemistry and have submitted their Ph.D. thesis are eligible for Extended SRF position.
Research Experience : Protein purification and assay, gel electrophoresis, PCR amplification, RNA and DNA isolation, RT-PCR, Western blot, immunoprecipitation, ELISA, microscopic techniques, cell culture and computer knowledge for statistical analysis, sequence analysis etc .
Associateship / Fellowship : Rs 22,000/- p.m. for RA / Rs. 20,000/- p.m. for Extended SRF, plus admissible H.R.A and Medical benefit.
Age: Below 35 years (Relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates only as per rule).
