Applications are invited for Project Appointment under the following project. Synthetic metabolons for enhancing carbon utilization in cyanobacteria for improved isoprene production Appointment shall be on contractual basis renewable yearly or up to the duration of the project, whichever. is earlier.

Duration of the Project 07-08-2026 to 06-08-2028 

1) Essential: 4-year Bachelor's (B.E. or B.Tech) or 2-year Master's degree (M.Sc. OR M.tech) in Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Junior Research Fellow 

Rs.37,000/-p.m. Biotechnology/ Biological Sciences or related subjects  (01) (Consolidated) with at least 60% of marks or 6.50 CGPA from a recognized university. 

2) Experience in microbiology, basic molecular biology techniques and bioinformatics tools is preferred 

3) Ability to maintain accurate lab records and data analyses, good organisational and prioritisation skills, team player and willingness to learn. 

Scope of the Project - The successful candidate will work on construction of synthetic metabolons and their characterization in cyanobacteria. The selected candidate may be provided accommodation in IBAB hostel based on availability.
