Applications are invited for two positions of SRF and one position of Young Professional-I on a purely
contractual basis under National Mission on High Yielding Seeds (NMHYS) in Pigeonpea(12-289F).
Candidates are required to bring the duly filled and signed application form along with original copies of educational
and other relevant documents, and one set of self-attested photocopies for verification at the time of interview.
Walkin-interview will be held on at 22/09/2026 10.00 A.M. onwards in the Division of Genetics, ICAR - Indian
Agricultural Research Institute, Pusa, New Delhi -110012. If any candidate is found to have submitted false claims
at a later stage, their candidature will be summarily rejected.

Essential:
Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/
Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology
with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Those with
3 years bachelor’s degree must have
UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or
equivalent or a Ph.D. in any of the above
disciplines as prescribed under ICAR
guidelines.
Desirable: Experience in Molecular
Breeding, molecular breeding, biotechnology,
and proficiency in computer application.
