Applications are invited from NET/Gate qualified candidates with at least 55% marks in M. Sc. in Human Genetics/Life sciences/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Zoology for the post of Junior research Fellow @ of Rs. 12000/- per month, fixed plus HRA as admissible) in a Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India funded project entitled "Genetics of tooth development: Genes underlying tooth agenesis in human" sanctioned up to 2013 (three years).

The post is purely temporary and coterminous with the project. The candidate should be below 28 years of age. A relaxation of 5 years upper age limit will be given to SC/ST/physically handicapped/female candidates.

Candidates with experience of research in the area of the project or in related field will be preferred. All qualifications being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
