NFBSRA Project Induction of apomixes in Sorghum by down regulation of somatic embryogenesis receptor kinase (SERK) gene in the ovules
Specialization: Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Plant Sciences
Essential: M.Sc. with first division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average.
Desirable: Experience in gene cloning, genetic transformation and transgenic characterization in Sorghum.
Rs. 16,000 per month + 30% HRA
The above position is purely temporary and on co‐terminus basis for the period of the project ending on 31st January, 2012. The candidates shall submit the application at the time of interview in the proforma enclosed along with a passport size photograph, attested copies of requisite mark sheets, certificates and supporting documents. They have to produce all the original certificates at the time of interview for verification. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Decision of the Director, DSR is final and
binding in all respects.
Terms and conditions:
1. The maximum age limit is 35 years with relaxation for Women, SC, ST and OBC candidates as per the Government of India norms.
2. The selected candidate shall not claim for regular appointment/absorption in DSR or funding agency at the end of the project.
