1. Position: Research Associate
No. of position: One
Pay: Rs 23000/- p.m. + 10% HRA
Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree (M.Sc./M.V.Sc.) in Biotechnology / Animal Genetics and Breeding / Biochemistry / Bioinformatics / LifeSciences / Veterinary Sciences with 2 years research experience in relevant subject or PhD in any of the above subjects.
Desirable: Working experience in molecular biology, SNP genotyping, sequence data analysis, gene expression / microarray analysis, mammalian cell-culture handling, functional gene characterization.
2. Position: Senior Research Fellow
No. of positions: One
Pay: M. Sc. Rs 16000/- p.m. + 10% HRA for Ist and 2nd year; Rs 18000/- p.m. + HRA for 3rd year; for veterinarian (MVSc) Rs 18000/- p.m. + HRA for Ist and 2nd year; Rs 20000/- p.m. + HRA for 3rd
Essential Qualifications: Master’s degrees (M.Sc/M.V.Sc) in Biotechnology/Animal Genetics & Breeding/Animal Biochemistry/Animal Physiology/Life sciences/ Veterinary Sciences.
Desirable: Working experience in molecular and biochemical techniques, sequencing, RNA and mammalian cell culture handling.
3. Position: Senior Research Fellow
No. of positions: One
Pay: M.Sc Rs 16000/- p.m. + 10% HRA for Ist and 2nd year; Rs 18000/- p.m. + HRA for 3rd year; for veterinarian (MVSc) Rs 18000/- p.m. + HRA for Ist and 2nd year; Rs 20000/- p.m. + HRA for 3rd year
Essential Qualifications: Master’s degrees (M.Sc/M.V.Sc) in Bioinformatics/Biotechnology/ Animal Genetics & Breeding /Veterinary Sciences/ Life Sciences
Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates having.
Proficiency in handling bioinformatic/statistical tools, molecular genetics software’s for genomic and gene expression data.
Terms & Conditions:
(i) The upper age limit for SRF/RAs will be as under:-
(ii) a) For SRF – 35 years for Men.
– 40 years for Women.
b) For RA – 40 years for Men.
– 45 years for Women
(iii) The applicants must bring with them original documents and a brief of research work done during post graduation, and latest two passport size photographs.
(iv) Number of positions is tentative and there are possibilities of increase or decrease.
(v) A panel of selected candidates will also be made which any be utilized for filling of positions of shorter durations in future if demand arises.
(vi) NOC from the employer shall be produced in case the candidate is employed elsewhere.
(vii) Experience certificate in original, if any.
(viii) The above positions are purely on temporary basis and are co-terminus with the project.
(ix) The continuation of the positions depends upon the progress reviewed every six months.
No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
(x) Any other clarifications can be hand on the date of interview.
(xi) The Director’s decision will be final and binding in all respects.
