Recruitment of Junior Research Fellows
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellows (three numbers) for a collaborative project between Water and Steam Chemistry Division (BARC Facilities), Kalpakkam and National Institute of Ocean Technology (MoES), Chennai.
The project deals with development of advanced antifouling technologies for industrial level applications. Details of the posts are given below.
Name of post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Nature of post : Purely temporary
Period of the project : Two years initially (extendable)
Fellowship amount : Rs 16,000 per month (likely to be revised)
Qualification : M.Sc. degree in Marine Biology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or Molecular Biology
The place of work will be Kalpakkam. The selected Fellows will be encouraged to do Ph.D.

NET/GATE qualified candidates and those with research experience in relevant fields (biofouling, biofilms) will be given preference. Short-listed candidates will be called for personal interview at Chennai/Kalpakkam. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
