Qualification:-
Essential qualifications: Second class (55% in qualifying examination) in M.Sc. Botany/ Plant sciences. With more than two years of research experience in field of microalgae/ cyanobacteria. Desirable: Candidates having more than two publications in peer reviewed journals will be preferred. Job Requirement: Isolation and screening of micro-algae for biofuel, lipid profiling, bio- pigments, downstream processing, etc.
General Conditions:-
Applications are invited for Project Assistant level –I and III to work in the research project 'Biofuel from marine microalgae'. 'Biofuel from marine microalgae'
The posts are purely temporary for duration of sponsored project/scheme only. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidates for claiming extension or absorption in CSMCRI/CSIR.
Age limit: Age limit for Project assistant at level I/III should not be more than 25/28/32 years respectively as on the date of interview. However, upper age limit may be relaxed as per CSIR rules for the SC/ ST/ OBC/ Handicapped candidates.
The interested candidates meeting the above stated requirements may attend the walk-in-interview with a copy of detailed bio-data enclosing photocopies of all certificates, reprints etc. along with the original certificates of qualification, experience etc. in support of their claim on 29 November 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Gijubhai Badheka Marg, Bhavnagar-364021.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
