Walk –In-Interview for eligible candidates for the temporary positions of one Traineeship and one Studentship on 14th December 2011 to work in DBT Funded-Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility (BIF), Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Tezpur University, Tezpur.

1. Traineeship – 01

Eligibility - First class Post Graduate degree in Bioinformatics / Biotechnology or any branch of basic science

Duration: 6 months.

Fellowship amount: Rs.5,000.00 per month (consolidated)

2. Studentship – 01

Eligibility- Pursuing Post Graduate degree in Bioinformatics / Biotechnology or any branch of basic science

Student perusing B.Tech Bioinformatics / Biotechnology are also eligible.

Duration: 6 months.

Fellowship amount: Rs.5,000.00 PM (consolidated)

Interested candidates may appear for the interview along with a copy of their detailed biodata and original educational qualification, experience certificates etc.

Note: For studentship a No Objection Certificate is required from the concerned HoD. Selected candidate will be doing a project in computational biology for six months at BIF, Dept. of MBBT.

Interview Venue: HoD Room, Dept of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology

Interview time: 10: 30 am Reporting time: 10:20 am on 14th December 2011

Selected candidates are likely to start their work from 15th December 2011.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
