Advertisement for Junior Research Fellow
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position, purely on temporary basis, in the DBT, Govt of India funded research project entitled ‘Bio-prospecting of fungal endo-symbioints from species of Cymbopogon and Cyanodon grasses from the areas of Central Western Ghats’ (BT/PR/14396/NDB/52/179/2010).
1. Name of position: Junior Research Fellow.
2. Number of position: One.
3. Project duration: Three years.
4. Emoluments: Rs 16,000 per month (consolidated) till completion of project.
5. Essential qualifications: M.Sc. in Applied Botany/Botany or equivalent with minimum 55% marks. Preference will be given to NET qualified candidates and if not available then candidate can be selected as a Project Fellow @ Rs 14,000 per month. The selection of the candidate is based on interview. No TA/DA given for attending interview. The project fellow can register for Ph.D. degree in Kuvempu University.
