Consequent to the collaborative research project on the “Assessment of meiobenthic fauna in the ports of Kandla, Mangalore, Kochi, Tuticorin, Chennai, Paradeep, Kolkata and Haldia” funded by Ministry of shipping , coordinated by NIO,Goa, the following positions tenable at the department of Zoology , Andhra University, Visakhapatnam The fellowships are temporary and co-terminus with the project. Applications are invited on plain paper from eligible candidates giving details of academic qualifications, age, experience if any, concerning their candidature. Interviews for the proposed positions are likely to be held during the third week of February 2012. The candidates will be called for the interview through email. Candidates called for interview will have to attend on their own and no TA/DA can be paid. The fellowship involves extensive field work and selected candidates are expected to possess the requisite ability and be sea worthy. All work schedules are time bond and therefore the selected candidates will have to join immediately and no extension of time can be given. The following are details of proposed positions:
