WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Eligible candidates are invited to attend a WALK-IN-INTERVIEW on the following date at 9.30 A.M. sharp for the following post on the ad hoc research project entitled “Genetic and epigenetic approach towards obesogenecity – using a rat model system” The essential qualification, experience, consolidated pay and service tenure are as under:

Essential Qualifications :Ph.D. in life sciences (Thesis submitted / awarded can also apply and attend the Interview, One year commitment is required)

Desirable : Research experience in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology - protein expression and activity analysis using SDS PAGE / Bioplex / ELISA and enzyme kinetics, Nucleic Acid isolation from various tissues / gene expression by RTPCR and real time PCR; Animal experiments – rodent handling, maintenance and dissection.

Age : 40 years (Relaxed upper age limit to SC/ST/OBC/PH Candidates as per the G.O.I. Rules)

Consolidated Pay : Rs.22,000/- Plus 30% HRA p.m. (fixed) without any allowances.

Tenure Initially for one year.

The candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualification (from SSC onwards), experience and caste along with a photo and set of Photo copies duly attested while attending the Walk-in-Interview.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: The conditions of employment will be the same as are for the project staff on contract basis. The candidates have no right to claim for any regular employment at this Institute. The Director & Appointing Authority has the right to accept / reject any application without assigning any reason and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained. The Candidates who belong to OBC category should submit the certificate of OBC issued by the respective Mandal Revenue Officer/ Tahsildar of the respective States for the purpose of applying to the Central Government Employment.
