One post available to work on CSIR funded project on ‘Identification, cloning and expression analysis of WRKY transcription factor genes from safflower (Carthamus tincotius L.) in response to drought stress’.

Qualifications:

SRF – M.Sc. with >55% in Botany or related subjects with 2 years research experience.

RA – Ph.D. in Botany or related subjects.

Candidates having experience in gene cloning, RTPCR, vector construction, and plant transformation are preferred.

Fellowship as per the CSIR and University norms. Application with CV with copies of relevant certificates may be sent to Prof. Chinta Sudhakar, Department of Botany, Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur 515 003, on or before 15 February 2012.

Short-listed candidates will be interviewed on later date. No TA and DA will be paid to attend interview.
