WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

National Institute of Epidemiology (NIE) proposes to fill up the following posts on purely temporary and adhoc basis under the project sanctioned by ICMR Task Force Projects on leprosy at NIE, for six months (Likely to be continued on yearly renewable basis).

II. A study on endemicity of leprosy and utilization of health services in selected areas of Uttarpradesh, Chattisgarh and Tamil Nadu

Technical Assistant (Lab) (One Post – SC)

Essential Qualification

Three years Graduate degree in Microbiology / Medical Microbiology from a
recognized. University with DMLT/Certificate of One year duration or One year experience in Microbiology Lab

Desirable Qualification

1. Experience in molecular techniques related to Mycobacterial diseases
2. Knowledge in computer applications.

Age limit Not exceeding 30 years. Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per GoI rules.

Nature of duties Sample collection, processing and molecular characterization

Emoluments Consolidated salary of Rs. 10,700/- p.m.
