INTERVIEW
It is proposed to fill up the following positions of RA/SRF in different projects at this Institute through interview. The eligible and desirous candidates fulfilling the
requirements should appear before the Selection Committee for personal interview on 25.05.2012 at 09.30 A.M. in the campus of this Institute. There may be written test also before interview please bring hard board and pen for the test.
1. ICAR Project “Intellectual Property Management and Transfer/Commercialization of Agricultural Technology Scheme”
Research Associate
Doctorate in any branch of Life Science or
Masters Degree in any branch of Life Science with two years of working experience in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) related issues and Technology Management
or
MBA Degree with Graduate/Post-Graduate in any discipline of Life Science and two years of working experience in Project Management/ IPR related issues/ Technology Management
2. ICAR Network project on Transgenic Crops
Research Associate
Doctorate in Biotechnology or
Masters Degree in Biotechnology with two years of working experience in Molecular Biology/ Plant Tissue Culture/ Transgenic development
Senior Research Fellow
Masters Degree in Genetics/ Plant Breeding/ Vegetable Science/ Plant Physiology
Desirable: Research experience in phenotyping and molecular breeding
Senior Research Fellow
Masters Degree in Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Plant Breeding/ Botany
Desirable: Research experience in tissue culture/transgenic development
Senior Research Fellow
Masters Degree in Biochemistry/ Chemistry
Desirable: Research experience in biochemical analysis of plant and soil
3. DST project “Gene expression studies and development of functionial markers for Anthracnose disease of Capsicum species
Senior Research Fellow
Masters Degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding
Desirable: Research experience molecular breeding
Senior Research Fellow
Masters Degree in Plant Pathology/ Botany
Desirable: Research experience of molecular plant pathology
4. ICAR Network project “National Initiative for Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA)
Senior Research Fellow
Masters Degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding
Desirable: Research experience in phenotyping and molecular breeding
5. ICAR Network project “Complete genome sequencing of M. cesari (AMAAS)
Senior Research Fellow
Masters Degree in Bioinformatics with graduation in any branch of Life Sciences Desirable: Research experience in bioinformatics with special reference to genome sequencing and assembly
Outreach project on Phytophthora, Fusarium and Ralstonia diseases of horticultural and field crops
Senior Research Fellow
Masters Degree in Plant Pathology/ Biotechnology/ Botany
Desirable: Working experience in plant pathology and molecular biology
Pay (consolidated) Rs. 23000/ p.m. + HRA for M.Sc. and Rs. 24000/ p.m. + HRA for Ph.D. as per rule for Research Associate.
Rs. 16000/- p.m. fixed + HRA for 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 18000 + HRA for 3rd year as per rules for Senior Research Fellow.
Age Not more than 40 years for Men and 45 years for Women (Relaxable to SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per rules) for R.A.
Not more than 35 years for Men and 40 years for Women (Relaxable to SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per rules) for S.R.F.
Note:-
1. The above posts are purely temporary/contractual, time bound and co-terminus with the project/scheme or earlier depending on performance.
2. The candidates are advised to bring their Application Biodata giving details of Educational Qualification and one recent photograph affixed thereon. They should also bring original copies of educational and other certificates during Interview.
3. Selected candidates will be allotted residential quarters at work site on rent as per norms.
4. The Competent Authority reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts and also to cancel the recruitment process for any/all the posts mentioned above.
5. No TA/DA etc. will be paid for attending the interview.
