Advertisement for the award of Junior Research Fellow

Applications are invited for award of one Junior Research Fellow on a consolidated fellowship of Rs. 16000/- pm (for NET qualified candidates) and Rs. 12000/- pm (without NET qualified candidates) in the project entitled "Isolation
and Characterization of Species Specific Repetitive DNA Families from Saccharum spontalleum and Saccharum officinarum and their use in characterization of Individual Chromosomes of Corresponding Species", under Dr. Sundip Kumar, Associate Professor. The fellowship is purely temporary and may continue till the duration or the project or maximum three years which ever is earlier. The appointment shall be given on six monthly review basis.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION M.Sc. (Biotechnology), M.Sc. (Genetics & Plant Breeding), M, Sc. (Life Science) and Experience in Classical or molecular cytogenetics will be considered as desirable qualification.

Candidates possessing the above qualifications may submit their application on plain paper in the following format to the undersigned up to 12-06-2012, the interviews will be held on the 12-06-2012 at " AM in the office of the undersigned. No separate letter for interview will be issued or any TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
