WALK-IN-TEST cum INTERVIEW
A walk in test followed by interview (based on test) for the selection of Senior Research Fellow in a time bound scheme, will be held on 28th June, 2012 at 10:00 AM at this Institute as given below:
Name of the Scheme : Outreach Programme on Diagnosis and Management of Leaf Spot Diseases of Field and Horticultural Crops
Senior Research Fellow – 2 Posts
Qualifications :
1. Essential : M.Sc (Agriculture) in Plant Pathology/ M.Sc (Agriculture) in Microbiology/ M.Sc (Botany)/ M. Sc (Microbiology)/ M.Sc (Biotechnology)
2. Desirable : Two years research experience in the relevant field in a research institute/ university
Fellowship : 16, 000 (consolidated) and HRA admissible per month
Upper age limit : 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on date of interview [(upper age limit is relaxable for SC, ST and OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms (at present 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC)]
Duration of Project : Upto 31st March, 2013 or sanction of the scheme expires, whichever is earlier
General Terms and Conditions
1. The above position is purely on temporary basis and is co-terminus with the project.
There is no provision of re-employment after termination of project. The selected
candidates will not have any right for claiming pay scale or absorption against any
regular post being vacant on a later date at this Institute.
2. No TA /DA will be paid for attending the interview.
3. The candidates must produce all relevant certificates and documents (in original) at the time of interview.
4. Canvassing in any form will lead to cancellation of candidature.
5. The decision of Director, IISR would be final and binding in all aspects.
