 Bioinformatics: Introduction, Area, Scope and Limitations.
 Biological database and data formats
 Data retrieval search engines.
 Sequence comparison and analysis.
 Sequence homology searching: BLAST & FASTA.
 Data mining techniques.
 Phylogenetic analysis.
 Molecular structure learning.
 Visualization tools and techniques.
 Molecular dynamics and modeling.

Methodology: Lecture, Demonstrations, Practical’s and evaluations

Level of Participants: Teachers teaching at graduate and under graduate level students in Life Science stream, computer science, Information technology, Pharmacy, Medical sciences

Prerequisites: Computer and Internet surfing

Number of Participants: 20

Applications will be scrutinized and selection confirmation will be send to participants. Final selection will be on the basis of fee submission.
