Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate (One) on a fellowship fixed amount of in the DBT sponsored research project entitled "Establishment of National Rice Resource Database" sanctioned for Five (05) years (since 2200 August 2009). The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
The upper Age limit is 45 years relaxable for five years for SC/ST/Physically handicapped/Female candidates. All things being equal SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules. Candidates with experience of research in the area of project and computer application for data analysis will be preferred. The candidate should be:
Ph.D in Genetics and Plant Breeding/Plant Genetic Resources from a recognized university with a minimum of first class in M.Sc. (Ag) or Post Graduate in above mentioned discipline having research experience of minimum three years in relevant area of research.
