Applications are invited for the post of Senior Research Fellow (One) on a fellowship fixed amount of Rs. 12000/- + 15% HRA for two years and Rs. 14000/- + 15% HRA for the third year onwards as per rules in the UPCAR sponsored research project entitled "Development of Hybrid Rice for major rice, rowing Agro-ecological situations of UP" sanctioned for Five (05) years (since 22" July 2008). The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
The upper Age limit-32 years: (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/Physically handicapped/Female candidates). All things being equal SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules. Candidates with experience of research in the area of project and computer application for data analysis will be preferred. The candidate should be:
Post Graduate in Genetics and Plant Breeding/Agricultural Botany/Biotechnology
or equivalent with 55% marks or NET/GATE qualified or at least two years research experience in the relevant field.
