Advertisement for the post of Project Fellow
Applications are invited for the two post of Project Fellow to work in a DST funded
project entitled "Functional Genomics and Proteomics of stress responses in N2 –fixing cyanobacteria".
Candidate should be M. Sc. in Botany/Biotechnology/Biochemistry with at least 55% marks in the subject. Fellowship amount is Rs.14, 000.00 pm plus HRA (As
per University rules).
Candidates with NET/GATE will be preferred. The term of appointment will be co-terminus with the period of the project. The upper age limit should be 28 years (S year relaxation will be given to SC/ST and women candidates).
All candidates will be interviewed by a duly constituted selection committee. SC/ST
candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules. Application on plain paper giving bio-data along with qualifications, work experience etc supported by attested copies of documents should be sent to Professor L. C. Rai (Principal Investigator), Molecular Biology Section, Laboratory of Algal Biology, Department of Botany, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi-221005 within 15 days of this advertisement (Advertised date 26th June 2012). No TA/DA shall be paid if called for interview.
