The Discipline of Marine Biotechnology and Ecology of CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar  is actively engaged in multidisciplinary research in frontier areas of modern biology and biotechnology and intend to recruit young, talented & motivated persons (M.Sc./ Ph.D. in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Botany/Microbiology) for various  projects e.g. adaptation biology – ecogenomics, transgenics for stress tolerance; plant - microbe and soil interactions – molecular characterization of PGPR, differential expression of the host gene; skin biology - interaction of skin with microbes, proteome profiling; bio-prospection -  seaweeds and marine bacteria, metabolic profiling and plant genomics.

6.	Project Assistant-II	M.Sc. with minimum 55% marks + LS/GATE	Rs.14,000/- consolidated	28 years
		M.Sc. with minimum 55% marks	Rs.12,000/- consolidated	28 years

 * relaxable upto 5 years in the case of applicants belonging to scheduled castes / tribes,  women, physically handicapped and OBC candidates.

General Conditions:-

Interested candidates fulfilling the above eligibility criteria are invited to appear in walk-in interview to be held at CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar on 17 August, 2012 at 9.30 AM.   The selected / suitable candidates may be allowed for Ph.D. enrollment.
