Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following temporary posts of project staff in various the research projects operated in this station. The monthly
remuneration of the project staff will be as follows;

Senior Research Fellow / Project fellow : Rs. 14,000- / 15,000- / 16,000- per month depending upon the project.

Research Assistant / Technical Assistant / Skilled Assistant : Rs. 8,000/- per month.

1 Senior Research Fellows

P1

M.Sc. (Botany) with first class or equivalent

Preferable: Specialization in systematic Botany (recorded proof required) with basic degree in B.Sc. (Botany). A minimum one year experience in survey and field work related to general flora/crops (recorded proof required). Preference will be given for those who can ride two wheelers (proof-valid license – is required) and for experience in word processing.

P2

M.Sc. (Botany) with first class or equivalent

Preferable: Specialization in systematic Botany (recorded proof required) with basic degree in B.Sc. (Botany). A minimum one year experience in survey and field work related to general flora/mangrove rehabilitation/ecological works (recorded proof required). Preference will be given for those who can ride two wheelers (proof-valid license – is required) and for experience in word processing.

M. Sc. (Ag.) in Plant Biotechnology / M.Sc. (Biotechnology), with first class or equivalent

Preferable: One year experience in molecular characterization of plant species & micro propagation after post graduation.

M.F.Sc . / M.Sc. (Aquaculture) / M.Sc. Zoology with fisheries as specialization /M.Sc. Marine Biology, with first class or equivalent

M.Sc. (Ag) in Entomology / M.Sc. (Microbiology), with first class or equivalent
P6 1 M.Sc. (Ag.) in Plant Pathology / M.Sc. (Microbiology), with first class or equivalent

Project fellow

P11

M.Sc.(Ag.) / M.Sc.(Botany) / M.Sc.(Zoology), with first class or equivalent and knowledge in computer

Preference will be given for those who can ride two wheelers with gear (proof-valid license – is required) and hands- on experience in research projects

Research Assistant

B.Sc. Botany/ Zoology/ Chemistry, with first class or equivalent
