Walk-in interview For JRF Position in DBT & UGC Sponsored Project

About College : Shree M. & N. Virani Science College managed by Sarvoday Kelavani Samaj, Rajkot has been accredited at the ‘A’ level by NAAC, selected by DBT for strengthening of Life Science and Biotechnology education, training and research at undergraduate level as “STAR College”; to add to this the college has also been conferred with “College with Potential for Excellence” by UGC.
We have active research programmes, with funding from various Government agencies. We are inviting application for a JRF position in a DBT & UGC sponsored research project.
Interested eligible candidates are requested to appear before a Selection Committee on July 22, 2012 (Sunday) at 10:00 am at Shree M & N Virani Science College, Kalawad Road Rajkot, to work as Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the DBT & UGC Sponsored Project
Total No. of Post: Two
Duration: 3 years
Educational Qualification:
| M.Sc. in Microbiology/Biotechnology /Biochemistry/ Life Science and NET qualified | Graduate Degree in Professional courses with GATE or equivalent qualification |
Note:
1. The position is purely temporary for the period of duration of the project.
2. If performance of the candidate is not found to be satisfactory, the position can be terminated with one month’s notice.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
4. Selected candidate should join immediately.
5. Candidates are requested to bring two sets of complete application furnishing typed biodata, with recent passport size photograph and attested copies of all certificates and testimonials. They should also bring all the original certificates and testimonials at the time of the interview.
