Microbial diversity/Nanotech JRF Opening @ University of Kalyani

Walk-in-interview for JRF in Department of Microbiology

A walk-in-interview will be held on 12.09.2012 at 11:30 A.M at the Department of
Microbiology, University of Kalyani, for appointing a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a UGC-sponsored research project entitled “Methods for Extraction and Purification of environmental DNA from soil approaching magnetic nanoparticles : Microbial diversity analysis and construction of metagenomic library.” under supervision of Dr.Keka Sarkar,Assistant Professor, Department of Microbiology, University of Kalyani.

Qualification: M.Sc in Microbiology with at least 55% marks.

Desirable:- Experience in nanotechnology.

Fellowship/Allowance: As per UGC guidelines.

Tenure of the project: 3 years or till the termination of the project, whichever is earlier.

Interested candidates are required to appear in person directly in the interview with the application, bio-data, and attested copies of certificates, marksheets and testimonials. The candidates should also bring originals of testimonials for verification and report at 11:00 A.M on the said date at the Department. No TA/DA will be paid for interview.
