Applications are invited on purely temporary basis for the posts [Junior Research Fellow & Field/ Lab Assistant] available in the Department of Biochemistry, School of Biological Sciences. Madurai Kamaraj University. Madurai·62S021, to work in the DBT sponsored Major Research Project entitled "Development of Simple, Cost-effective, Quantifiable Bacterial Biosensor for Cadmium Using Agarose as a Novel Reporter Gene"(BT/PR3857/MED/32/222/2011).
Educational Qualifications for JRF: First class in M.Sc., Biochemistry/ Biochemical Technology/ Biotechnology/ Genomics/ Microbiology or in any other discipline relevant to Life Science.
Preference will be given for the candidates for those who are having NET from UGC or CSIR/ GATE.
Qualifications for Field I Lab Assistant: 10th Standard.
Emolument: JRF - Rs.16,000 (I & II Year)+ 20% IlRA/p.rn; Rs.18,000+ 20% HRA (III Year)/p.m
Field I Lab Assistant - Rs.6,OOO/p.rn (I, II & III Year).
