Applications are invited for the appointment of a Project Fellow under the UGC, New Delhi sponsored Major Research Project (UGC-MRP) entitled ‘Biodiversity and molecular taxonomy of helminth parasites from fresh water fishes of Marathwada and Western Ghats of Maharashtra’

The Candidate must be Postgraduate in Zoology with minimum 55% marks. The fellowship amount will be as per the UGC rules. The appointment will be purely on temporary basis for one year initially, which can be extended to two more years based on the performance of the candidate. TA/DA will not be paid to the candidates appearing for the interview. The project is based on extensive field work on the rivers and reservoirs in the study area, Therefore, the candidate having good swimming abilities, fishing skills and experience of working with fisher communities, having good knowledge of Inland Fisheries and fish taxonomy, Ability to work independently on computer for Word 2010, Excel, Power Point will be preferred for this project.
