Essential Qualifications	MSc in Microbiology with a minimum two years research experience in marine microbiology.
Desirable	Experience in carrying out antimicrobial assays, mass culture of microorganisms, maintaining fungal and bacterial cultures. Culturing microorganisms using different media as well as determining the bacterial population count. Working skills on computers is essential
Job requirement	The selected candidate will be required to assist the project leader in the collection of marine organisms. Should be familiar with use of instruments such as laminar flow, autoclave, centrifuge, etc. The candidate will be required to prepare crude extracts. To assist the project leader in data processing and preparation of project reports. Candidate should be able to work independently.
