Walk - in – Interview
Walk-in-interview will be conducted for contractual appointment of one Research Associate (RA) in DBT funded Network Project on Establishment of National Rice Resource Database located at Banaras Hindu University, on October 18, 2012 at 3:00 pm in the Committee Hall No.-1, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.
Duration: The period of RA is at present upto August, 2014 or till termination of the project.
Emoluments: Monthly remuneration of Rs. 22,000/- (1 st and 2nd year), Rs. 23,000/- (3rd and 4th year) and Rs. 24,000/- (5th year) plus HRA 20% as per rules of the university.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Genetics and Plant Breeding 1 Plant Genetic Resources or related field from a recognized university with a minimum of first class in post graduation.
Age limit: The upper age limit is 45 years relaxable for five years for SC/ST/Physically handicapped/Female candidates.
The eligible and interested candidates desirous to work in the project must bring a copy of bio-data, original and attested copies of certificates of educational qualifications. NOC from Employer/University, if working already and experience certificate, if any and a latest passport size photograph at the time of walk-in-interview.
Terms and Conditions:
1. Position is purely temporary, time-bound and co-terminus with the project.
2. There is no provision for re-employment after termination of the project.
3. The engagement can be discontinued due to administrative reasons.
4. The candidates attending the interview will not be entitled for T AIDA.
5. Eligible candidates must be present 30 minutes before scheduled time on the date of interview to complete necessary formalities.
6. Selected candidate will be medically examined prior to issuing the offer.
7. The decision of the SHU will be final and binding in all aspects.
