NIMR Research Assistant Opening on Center for the Study of Complex Malaria in India

WALK IN INTERVIEW

One post of Research Assistant on a consolidated salary of Rs. 22,120/- p.m. is to be filled up on a temporary, contractual basis, co-terminus with the duration of a National Institutes of Health-funded project Center for the Study of Complex Malaria in India. The qualifications, experience and other details are given below:

Essential qualifications: Master’s degree in any branch of Life Sciences with specialization in genetics/molecular biology/genomics and/or malaria will be preferred.

Desirable: Field experience in malaria, Good computer skills and experience with using MS Office.

Age: Up to 30 years

General

Age Limit: Age relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Central Govt. rules/orders and up to five years for general category candidates in deserving cases for possessing experience in Govt./Autonomous Bodies.

Place of duty: The incumbent will be posted at the project site at the above mentioned address.

Duration: The incumbent would be engaged initially for one year but the period of engagement may be curtailed or extended at the discretion of the competent authority. Interested and eligible candidates may appear for a Walk-in-Interview together with copy of their complete bio-data and photocopies of the certificates/testimonials and the originals for verification before the Selection Committee on 15 October at 10.00 a.m, NOC is necessary in the case of persons serving in Central/State Govt./Autonomous Bodies/PSUs. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
