A Walk-in-Interview will be held at 11.00 a.m on 15th October, 2012 (Monday) in the Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Tezpur University, Napaam for selection of two (02) Project Fellows in a DRL, DRDO sponsored research project entitled “Screening and Isolation of Bioactive Compounds from Medicinal Plants Traditionally used Against Malaria in Arunachal Pradesh” under Mr. Nima D. Namsa, Principal Investigator, Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Tezpur University.
Qualification : M.Sc Degree in Zoology/Botany/Life Sciences/Medical Entomology preferably with NET/GATE qualification. However, experience in at least one of the following areas will be an advantage. Biology of Parasitology/Chromatography techniques.
Age: Candidates should not be more than 28 years of age on the date of the interview. The upper limit may be relaxed in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/Women and Physically Challenged as per existing rules.
Fellowship : Rs. 12,000.00 (Rupees Twelve Thousand) only per month (Fixed).
Duration : 2(Two) years or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
N.B : No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
