ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF ONE TRAINEE AND ONE STUDENT FOR TWO ON-GOING PROJECT IN THE DISTRIBUTED INFORMATION CENTRE FOR BIOINFORMATICS (DIC)
A walk-in interview will be held on 29.11.2012 at 12 noon in the Department of Biophysics, Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics, 92 A P C Road, Kolkata 700 009 to select ONE TRAINEE and ONE STUDENT under the Trainee/Studentship Programme of the DIC. The positions are purely temporary and would be for a period of TWO years from the date of joining.
Qualification :
For the trainee: M Sc in any branch of Life Science/ Bioinformatics with experience in Bioinformatics. Should be proficient in Matlab, C and Perl ans methodologies of Soft computing/ Machine learning. Published paper would be an added qualification.
For the student: M Sc in any branch of Life Science with experience in Bioinformatics. Should be proficient lab management. Published paper would be an added qualification.
The student and the trainee would be paid a consolidated sum of Rs 15,000/- per month during the tenure of the project.
