Haffkine Institute invites applications on plain paper for the following positions for DST sponsored project (Sanction No. VI-D&P/369/10-11/TDT) “Mechanism based screening and validation of important Ayurvedic Herbal Drugs using Radiotracer Techniques”.
Duration of the project is 3 years.
1. Research Associate 02
Rs. 22,000/- + HRA
2. Junior Research Fellow 02
Rs. 16,000/- + HRA
3. Project Assistant II 01
Rs. 8,000/- consolidated
4. Project Assistant I 02
Rs. 5,000/- consolidated
Eligibility:
For Research Associate
Essential Qualifications: Ph.D (Life Sciences) or MD or MS or equivalent degree or having 3 years of Research, Teaching and Design and Development experience after M.VSc or M.Pharm or ME or M.Tech.
Desired: Candidates having experience of working in radiation biology or experimental animal imaging will be given preference. A background in Ayurvedic Sciences or Phytomedicine is also desirable.
For Junior Research Fellow
Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Sciences and NET qualified or Graduate Degree in Professionals Courses and GATE or equivalent qualification.
Desired: Candidates having experience of working in radiation biology or experimental animal imaging will be given preference.
For Project Assistant II
Qualifications: 1st Class M.Sc. Experience in Experimental Animal Handling is desirable.
For Project Assistant I
Qualifications: 1st Class B.Sc or 3 years Diploma or 10+2 (HSC) with Lab Experience
Degree and Diploma Certificates, Work Experience certificates, reprints of Publications along with their Curriculum Vitae. Postal Applications should be sent in sealed envelopes with the line “DST HERBAL PROJECT” written at the top in BLOCK LETTERS.
