WALK IN INTERVIEW
A walk in interview will be held on 13.12.2012 at 11.00 AM at Directorate of Distance Education, Madhavaram Milk Colony, Chennai 600 051 for recruiting one Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for the National Agriculture Development Programme (NADP) scheme on “Augmenting Animal Productivity and Advanced Veterinary Care Delivery through Continuing Education to Field Veterinarians” at Directorate of Distance Education, TANUVAS. The Post is purely on temporary basis and need based and recruited SRFs should not claim any regular employment at a later date. The service is liable to be terminated at any time without assigning any reasons thereof. The service of the persons so engaged will automatically stand terminated with the termination of project. The duration of the project is ten months. The details of the post and its minimum qualification are as follows:
1. Senior Research Fellow* ONE
M.V.Sc. Degree in any discipline
Rs.18,000/- (Consolidated) + Admissible HRA
OR
Master Degree in Life Sciences
Rs.16,000/-(Consolidated) + Admissible HRA
*Preference will be given to veterinary graduates.
Note:
Candidate should bring the filled in application with recent passport photo and submit the attested photocopies of certificates in support of Educational Qualifications / Technical qualifications, community and experience etc.

The selection of candidates will be purely based on their academic performance,
interview, work experience , publication, etc.
No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
The decision of selection committee will be final for number of post and binding in all aspects.
The selected candidates will have to execute a bond for Rs. 5,000/- before joining duty along with physical fitness certificate.
