Training Programme on Insect and Mite Taxonomy
20 February–12 March 2013
Under the ICAR funded Niche Area of Excellence Project on Capacity Building in Taxonomy of Insects and Mites, a training programme is being organized on ‘Taxonomy of Insects and Mites’ from 20 February to 12 March 2013.
The programme is mainly aimed at training teachers in Agricultural Universities who are engaged in teaching Insect Systematics in the Postgraduate degree programme. Entomologists working in ICAR and other institutes and universities interested in Insect Systematics can also apply.

Completed application/s should reach the Principal Investigator on or before 31 December 2012.
Selected candidates will be intimated before 15 January 2013.
Applications are also being considered for the training programme ‘Ants – Biology and Classification’ being held from 7 to 11January 2013
