This workshop will introduce researchers to multidisciplinary approach of drug design and discovery. Particular attention is devoted to the concepts and use of softwares for :
QSAR analysis
Pharmacophore modeling
Protein structure modeling
Structure based drug design
Virtual screening
Additionally practice projects will also be given to the participants.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
The course is aimed at beginners (M.Sc./M.Pharm./M.Tech. etc.) and those who have already been working in the field of drug discovery (Ph.D.). The course may also be useful to computational biologists new to drug design. Leading experts from
different institutions such as CDRI, JNU, ILS, IIT etc. will cover different topics and lead the training sessions.

The course fee is Rs. 1000 which will cover accommodation, lunch/dinner, course
materials and certificate of attendance.
