About the Workshop The past few decades has witnessed major advances in the field of modern biology, coupled with technological advancement that has led to an explosive growth in the biological information. In the information age, the domain of modern biology is redefined as developing insights into how the systemic information can be stored, regulated and expressed. Bioinformatics and Computational Biology touches all areas of biology; it has therefore become an integral component in most of the academic institutes and various industries all over the country.
The objectives of this three-day training programme is to impart an awareness of Bioinformatics among the college teachers by way of introducing the basics as well as current technologies in Bioinformatics (based on DU semester syllabus)

Number of Participants: 20 (on first come first serve basis)

Registration Procedure Applications are invited from teachers of University of Delhi( limited to 2 applicants per college) All payments must be accompanied with the Registration Form duly filled and forwarded by the college Principal.
