Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for the following temporary posts in two different projects as per details given below. All the posts are co-terminus with the projects.
Project No. 1 : ICMR sponsored project entitled “Role of the secretory antigen HP0175 in Helicobacter pylori- mediated induction of autophagy” under Prof. Manikuntala Kundu, Dept. of Chemistry. The project is tenable upto 29.03.2014.
A) Post – Junior Research Fellow (one)
Essential Qualification : A good M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences with ICMR-PGI-NET / CSIR-UGC NET qualification
Fellowship : Rs. 16,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA
Age : Below 28 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).
B) Post – Senior Research Fellow (one)
Essential Qualification : A good M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences and two years research experience OR M.Tech degree
Desirable Qualification : Experience in cell and molecular biology
Fellowship : Rs. 18,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA
Age : Below 30 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).
Project No. 2 : DST sponsored project entitled “Stress induced regulation of extracytoplasmic sigma factors in mycobacteria” under Prof. Manikuntala Kundu, Dept. of Chemistry. The project is tenable upto 06.12.2013.
Post – Junior Research Fellow (one)
Essential Qualification : A good M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences with CSIR-UGC NET-JRF or NET-LS or GATE qualification
Fellowship : Rs. 16,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA for CSIR-UGC NET-JRF
Rs. 12,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA for CSIR-UGC NET-LS or GATE
Age : Below 28 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).
