Applications are invited from meritorious students for five (5) Research Fellowships in the subject of Biochemistry for pursuing Ph.D. degree in Department of Biochemistry under BSR Research Fellowship for Meritorious Students (RFMS) scheme of UGC as per the following terms and conditions:
Fellowship: Rs. 14,000/-+Contingency Rs. 12,000/- per annum
Duration: Initially for 1 year (extendable)
Eligibility:
• M.Sc. degree in Biochemistry/Microbiology/Life Sciences/Biotechnology with at least 55% marks.
• Qualified CSIR-UGC NET /GATE examination in life sciences
or Qualified Ph.D. Entrance test/Enrolled for Ph.D.
There is no prescribed format. Application on plain paper along with CV should
be submitted to the Chairperson, Department of Biochemistry, Panjab University,
and Chandigarh latest by 22nd February, 2013.
The eligible candidates should present themselves for the interview on February 26, 2013 at 11.00 a.m. in the office of the Chairperson, Department of Biochemistry, Panjab University Chandigarh. No separate letters for interview shall be issued and no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
