IISER Mohali Molecular Biology RA Walk In

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals to work as Research Associate (RA) in a research project funded by the Department of Biotechnology.

Title: Investigations into the sulphur assimilatory pathways of "Candida albicans”.

This project is aimed toward understanding the mechansisms of organic sulphur (such as cysteine, methionine, glutathione)  assimilation in Candida albicans.

Positions: 1

Duration: 1 year

Essential Qualifications: PhD.in any branch of Life Sciences with good academic record and with molecular biology experience as evidence from 1 or 2 publications in reputed journal.

Experiences with yeasts such as Saccharomyces cerevisiae or Candida albicans is essential.

Emoluments: Payment of emoluments will be made in accordance with DST O.M. no.A.20020/11/97-IFD dtd.31.03.2010. 

How to Apply? This is a walk-in interview that would be held in the office of Prof Anand Kumar Bachhawat, CAF Building, IISER Mohali. Candidates should bring a proof of their PhD along with a copy of their detailed biodata, and copies of their 3 most salient publications
