Applications are invited for a "Walk-in-Interview" scheduled to be held at Division of Surgery, Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar (UP) on March 01, 2013 at 11.00AM for engagement of one Research Associate (RA) in DBT funded project entitled "Development Of Composite Scaffolds For Bone And Tendon Repair Using Tissue Engineering Techniques".

The engagement is purely temporary on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project. The engagements will be liable for termination at any time in case of unsatisfactory performance.

There will be no provision of absorption/re-employment in IVRI/DBT on termination of the project. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview and no separate letter will be issued.

Duration of the Project: Up to Jan, 2015

Essential Qualification: M.V. Sc OR M.Sc.. in Public Health /Biotechnology/ Bacteriology/ Immunology/Microbiology with at least three years experience (or) PhD in Biotechnology/Microbiology.

Working knowledge in animal cell culture, isolation, characterization, molecular biology and latest biotechnological techniques, nucleotide sequencing & analysis techniques etc.

Age limit: 35 years (relaxation for women and SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms).

Emoluments: Rs.22000/- P.M. + HRA @ 20%

Selection procedure: Candidates fulfilling qualification and experience may appear directly in "Walk-in-Interview". Candidates attending interview should bring recent bio-data, original and one photocopy of certificates, two passport size photographs.
