Central Food Technological Research Institute, a constituent establishment of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India, wishes to recruit a Project Assistant Level -I and Project Assistant Level-II (One post each) on temporary basis to work in the Consultancy Project CNP 514 entitled "Consultancy assistance on Sensory Evaluation of Coating Material Used as Coating in Vessels" in this Institute on a consolidated salary of Rs 8,000 and Rs 12,000 p.m respectively.

The Selection will be on the basis of Interview. The engagement will be initially for a period of six months for PAT-I and four months for PAT - II. The engagement will be purely on temporary basis and does not confer any right/ claim whatsoever, for the regular CSIR/CFTRI post/fellowship. If selected, the candidate has to report for duty on 1st April 2013.
No TA will be paid for attending the interview.
Age: Maximum 28 Years.
Essential Qualifications for PAT - I : First Class B.Sc in Biology / Biotechnology/ Botany/ Computer Science/ Food Science/ Chemistry
Essential Qualifications for PAT - II : First Class M.Sc in the area of Food Science and Nutrition/ Chemistry/ Botany/ Bio-Technology
Qualifications being equal, candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC community will be given preference.
