Walk in interview
A walk-in interview will be held to select candidates for the position of SRF in the National fund funded Project on “Phenomics of moisture deficit and temperature stress tolerance in rice”, (PI- Dr. P. K. Mandal, Principal Scientist). Desirous candidates may report for interview at 10:00 A.M. on 10.04.2013 in committee room, first floor, National Research Centre on Plant Biotechnology, LBS Building, Pusa Campus, New Delhi- 110012 along with five copies of Bio-data and original certificates/testimonials.
Senior Research Fellow (one post)
Rs. 16000 +30% HRA M.Sc in Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Genetics/ Plant Physiology or any branch of Life Sciences with relevant research experience in Plant Science.
1) The above posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis for an initial period of one year, which may be extended on yearly basis after satisfactory performance of the incumbent till termination of the scheme. There is no provision of re-engagement after termination of scheme. The selected candidate shall not claim for regular appointment at this institute as the fellowship is co-terminus with respective scheme.
2) Age limit: 40 years for RA and 35 years for SRF. Age relaxation of 5 years to SC/ST & women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates will be given.
3) TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
