Applications for following posts are invited on the prescribed form obtainable from the office of the undersigned/concerned Heads of Departments of College of Horticulture and College of Forestry located at main Campus, Nauni/Associate Directors(R&E)/Scientist Incharge, Out Research Stations located at Jachh (Kangra), IBES, Neri (Hamirpur), Bajaura(Kullu), Mashobra(Shimla), Sharbo(Kinnaur), Dhaulakuan (Sirmour), Kandaghat(Solan), Kotkhai (Shimla), Tabo (Spiti) and Programme Coordinators, Krishi Vigyan Kendras, Chamba at Saru, Shimla at Karashal, (Rohroo), Kinnaur at Reckong Peo of Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Solan , advertisement and application form can be downloaded from the University Website http:/www.yspuniversity.ac.in, However, the said Application form will only be considered valid, if it is accompanied with a processing fee of Rs.250/- for general category candidates and Rs.63/- for reserved category candidates (along with attested copy of SC/ST/OBC/PH Certificate) in the shape of IPO/Bank Draft drawn on State Bank of Patiala/UCO Bank, Nauni, Solan-173230 (HP) payable to the Comptroller, UHF, Nauni. Application complete in all respects should reach in the Office of the Directorate of Research latest by 23/04/2013 and the interview will be held on 29/04/2013 at 11.00 a.m in the office chamber of the Director of Research, Directorate of Research, UHF, Nauni, Solan.

Terms & Conditions
1. The applicant must be a Citizen of India.
2. Candidate should be 35 years for men & 40 years for women for SRF/JRF . The above age limits are relaxable for SC, ST,& OBC candidates as per Govt. of India, norms.
3. Candidate should be 40 years for men at 45 for women at the time of appointment for Research Associate-II at Sr No. 3 only. The above age limits are relaxable for SC, ST,& OBC candidates as per Govt. of India, norms.
4. Photocopy of Provisional Degree Certificate (PDC) is necessary with the application
otherwise application form will be rejected.
5. The appointments on these posts will be made at a fixed salary, purely temporary basis on “co-terminus basis with the project concerned”. The candidates applying for these posts shall have no claim for their regularization against the said posts.
5. Applicants already working in any project should send their application form through their PI/HOD.
6. Where any vacancy can not be filled up due to non-availability of a person with physical disability or, for any other sufficient reason, such vacancy shall be filled up by appointment of person other than a person with physical disability.
7. The number of posts may vary depending upon the need of the University.
8. A candidate applying for more than one post should send a separate application form along with the requisite processing fee for each post/position.
9. Any further information about qualifications or job requirements or date of interview can be had from the office of the Directorate of Research.
10. Incomplete application or those received after the last date will not be entertained and will be rejected straightway.
11. The University reserves the right not to fill up all or any of the posts, without assigning any reason.
12. No separate letter for interview will be issued and the candidate will have to appear for interview on their own expenses
13. Candidate must have all the original testimonials at the time of Interview.
