Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) funded research project "SNP variation in the regulatory region of genes involved in Oxidative stress and its association with Osteoporosis".
Principal Investigator : Dr. Richa Ashma, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology
Co - Investigator : Dr. Saroj Ghaskadbi, Professor, Department of Zoology
Junior Research Fellow : [One Post (SC)] @ Rs. 16, 000/- + HRA pm
Duration : 3 Years
Date of Interview : 15th April, 2013
Time of Interview : 11.30 am (Reporting Time: 11.00 am)
Venue : Seminar Hall, Department of Zoology, University of Pune.
Candidate with M.Sc Zoology/Health Sciences and one year of research experience can apply.
Preference will be given to the candidates with prior experience in RT - PCR, DNA Sequencing, primer designing and Bio-informatics.
The JRF recruitment shall be purely on contractual basis, and the contract for engagement of the JRF, shall run concurrently with the said project period only.
